Take care that Corona patients will not be inadequate – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s instructions
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar directed to take effective measures to control ‘ Corona ‘ patient rate and death rate in rural areas including Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area, to take care of ‘ Corona ‘ patients will not be inadequate.
A meeting was held at Vidhan Bhavan Auditorium under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of the district Ajit Pawar regarding ‘Covid Management and Planning’ in Pune district. This time they were talking. Mayor Muralidhar Mohol, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Jamabandi Commissioner S. Chokkalingam, Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation Rubal Agarwal, Commissioner of Police Dr. K. Venkatesham, Sandeep Bishnoi, Superintendent of Police Sandeep Patil, Zilla Parishad CEO Ayush Prasad, Director of Health Department Dr. Archana Patil, Arnab Ghosh of ‘Aisar’ and Dr. Aarti Nagkar, District Surgeon Dr. Ashok Nandapurkar, Deputy Director of Health Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, in charge of Sasoon Dr. Muralidhar Tambe, Resident Deputy Collector Dr. Jayashree Katare and senior administrative officers were present.
After reviewing the Corona situation in Pune district, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said, everyone should come together and try to prevent Corona infection. Corona outbreak is increasing in rural areas of Pune district. In any situation, it is necessary to control the corona infection in the rural areas along with the urban areas, everyone should work with special attention. Also, the health department should take necessary precautions in order to provide timely and proper medical treatment to patients of other infections and Sari diseases in the monsoon along with Corona.
Ganeshotsav and visarjan procession in Pune has a big tradition. But this year, due to the Corona pandemic, it is necessary to celebrate Ganeshotsav at home to prevent infection. Citizens should simply immersion Ganesh idols of Ganapati in their homes and public mandal in a simple way. For this no one should crowd at public immersion. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar suggested that no one will be allowed to visit Ganapati and any other Ganapati to avoid increasing the outbreak of ‘Corona’.
Take care that the development projects in the district will not be overtaken by any circumstances due to the Corona situation. The work of Purandar airport should be started as soon as possible and try to complete it at a speed. The concerned authorities suggested to appointment Deputy Collector class officers to implement the work of Pune-Nashik railway, including Pune Metro, to speed up the works of important projects in the district.

Mayor Muralidhar Mohol said, the police department and the municipal administration have planned the right thing by taking the public Ganesh Mandal regarding Ganesh immersion during the Ganesh festival period. Considering the outbreak of Corona, he said that immersion in domestic form, as well as arrangement of moving immersion and Ganesh idols donation centers have been established.
Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao gave information about the current situation of Corona affected patients in Pune district, number of corona free patients, areaal information of affected patients, sample testing lab, patient doubling period, management of examined bills, bed management etc.
District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh informed about ‘Corona’ situation in rural areas. He said that antigen tests are being extended in rural areas, as well as measures are being taken to reduce the rate of patient, death rate, and this will help control the corona situation in rural areas.
