TCS Q1 Highlights
In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025, TCS added 5,452 new employees, bringing its total workforce to 615,318. The company continues to uphold its commitment to diversity, with women making up 35.8% of its workforce, representing 154 nationalities.
TCS reported an attrition rate of 12.1% in Q1, down from 12.5% in the previous quarter. The company remains dedicated to employee development, with its workforce completing 12.7 million learning hours and acquiring 1.3 million new competencies during the quarter. Additionally, TCS announced plans to hire 40,000 freshers in the fiscal year 2025.
