The idea of building something on this land started years ago when their father bought the plot for his brother. The land back then had nothing but a single tamarind tree. Over time, that quiet, almost forgotten piece of earth became more than just a family weekend home, it became the base of a future full of purpose and nature. While the brothers were busy with their own careers, they always kept one eye on the land and the bond their father shared with it.
Their goal wasn’t just to create a business but to bring their family’s love for the land alive. The early days weren’t easy. They weren’t trained farmers, and learning how to grow crops without using chemicals was all trial and error. The turning point came during the COVID-19 lockdown. What started as a short break from the city turned into three life-changing months at the farm. Away from the stress of urban life, they realized just how precious the space was. With nature all around and a simple, peaceful lifestyle, the brothers began to imagine sharing this joy with others.
This is when the idea of a farm stay took shape. Instead of building something flashy, they chose to enhance what was already there. They extended the existing home on the land, carefully designed spaces that blended with nature, and ensured every corner of the estate reflected calm and balance.
Today, Chlorophyll Estate is a welcoming space with over 140 varieties of plants, fruits, vegetables, and spices. Guests from all over the country come here to take a break from the noise and breathe in the quiet, green surroundings. Every detail, from the natural building materials to the simple yet thoughtful interiors, is a reflection of their love for the land.
