Operation Sindoor: “This is the real tribute…” – First reaction from Santosh Jagdale’s daughter after the airstrike. At midnight on May 7, 2025, the Indian Air Force conducted airstrikes on multiple terrorist bases in Pakistan, destroying them completely.
This special mission by the Indian Armed Forces was named Operation Sindoor. It was launched in retaliation for the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Under this operation, the Indian Air Force targeted and destroyed camps of terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan.
Following the strike, Asavari, daughter of Santosh Jagdale from Pune who was killed in the Pahalgam attack, said, “Hearing the name of the operation made me cry. This is the true tribute and justice for those killed by terrorists.”
The Indian Air Force carried out a successful strike at around 1:30 AM on nine terrorist locations, avenging the Pahalgam terror attack. Targets linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Lashkar-e-Taiba were destroyed in this midnight operation.
