Traffic Diversions in Pune for Eid-ul-Fitr Namaz at Golibar Maidan

Pune, March 30, 2025: The Pune Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic diversions in the Cantonment area on Monday, March 31, to facilitate smooth vehicular movement during Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Golibar Maidan. The restrictions will be enforced from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM as a large number of devotees are expected to gather for Namaz.
The prayers will be held at the Eidgah ground at Golibar Maidan following the sighting of the moon on Sunday, March 30. To manage the anticipated crowd, traffic movement on Solapur Road between Bhairobanala Chowk and Golibar Maidan Chowk will be restricted.

- Heavy vehicles heading towards Swargate from Solapur Road will be diverted left at Bhairobanala Chowk and routed through Prince of Wales Road and Lullanagar.
- Vehicles traveling towards Pune Station and other city areas will be restricted from entering the designated no-entry zone.
- Light vehicles can take an alternate route via Empress Garden.
- Vehicles coming from Swargate towards Golibar Maidan will be diverted at Seven Loves Chowk (Dhole Patil Road) and directed through Salisbury Park and Khatav Bungalow towards Lullanagar or Solapur Road.
- The stretch between Solapur Bazaar Chowki and Golibar Maidan Chowk will remain closed to traffic.
