Traffic Diversions on Pune-Ahilyanagar Highway for Vijay Stambh Tribute Program

Pune, December 27: To accommodate the annual Vijay Stambh Tribute Program at Perne (Haveli Taluka) on January 1, traffic diversions will be in place on Pune-Ahilyanagar Highway No. 60 from December 31, 2024, 5 PM, to January 1, 2025, midnight. Temporary traffic adjustments have been ordered by Acting District Magistrate Santosh Patil to prevent congestion.
Key changes include:
- Chakan to Shikrapur Road: Both directions will be closed to all vehicles.
- Heavy Vehicles from Ahilyanagar to Pune-Mumbai: Rerouted via Shikrapur, Nhavara Phata, Nhavara, Pargaon, Chauphula, Yavat, and Hadapsar.
- Heavy Vehicles from Pune to Ahilyanagar: Redirected via Kharadi Bypass, Hadapsar, Solapur Highway, Chauphula, Kedgaon, and Shirur.
- Heavy Vehicles from Solapur Highway to Alandi/Chakan: Diverted through Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Kharadi Bypass, and Vishrantwadi.
- Vehicles from Mumbai to Ahilyanagar: Heavy vehicles via Vadgaon Maval, Chakan, Khed, Manchar, and Alephata; lighter vehicles via Pabal and Shirur.
These measures aim to streamline traffic during the event.
