Tragic Pune Road Accident Claims One Life, Leaves 2 Injured Near Bhosari
Neglecting traffic rules is a common issue among young drivers, often resulting in hazardous situations. Reckless actions, such as racing on two- or four-wheelers and disregarding speed limits, have been linked to an increase in fatal accidents. A tragic incident in Pune’s Bhosari highlights this problem, where a motorcycle crash led to one death and two serious injuries.
The accident occurred on Gawli Matha Road in MIDC Bhosari early on December 18, at approximately 3:30 am. The victim, 19-year-old Shanthiratna (Mauli Annasaheb Sonawane), was riding at high speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and skidded. Unfortunately, he did not survive the crash, while his friends, Om Kamble and Rohit Gaikwad, sustained serious injuries.
The local police were notified about the accident by 33-year-old Sawantkumar Malhari Gaikwad, who lives in MIDC Bhosari. Police reports indicate that Shanthiratna was speeding on the road to Gawli Matha when the crash happened.
This incident emphasizes the risks associated with reckless driving and highlights the necessity of following traffic rules to ensure the safety of everyone on the road.
