Trump World Center: First Trump-Branded Commercial Project in India to Launch in Pune
Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces Partner for Landmark Development
The Trump Organisation is making its foray into India’s commercial real estate sector with its first office project, Trump World Center, in Pune. Spanning 1.6 million square feet, the project involves an investment of ₹1,700 crore and has an estimated sales potential of ₹2,500 crore. This marks the organisation’s first commercial office project in India and its second development in Pune.
Tribeca Developers, the official India partner of the Trump Organisation, is collaborating with Kundan Spaces to develop this high-end commercial property. The project is situated on a 4.3-acre land parcel on North Main Road in Pune’s Koregaon Park annexe. The Trump World Center will feature over 27 floors of premium office space.
Luxury Commercial Hub with State-of-the-Art Amenities
According to Tribeca Developers, the project will comprise two towers, offering for-sale strata offices in one and larger leasable office spaces in the other, catering to diverse business needs. The development will integrate a host of premium amenities, including creches, salons, gyms, auditoriums, sports facilities, spas, restaurants, and grocery stores. Additionally, a luxury retail boulevard will showcase high-end brands, while India’s first Trump Club will serve as an exclusive space for business leaders, featuring dining and networking facilities.
Investment and Future Expansion Plans
Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, stated, “The investment for the Pune project stands at ₹1,700 crore, with revenue shared 50:50 with our partner. The project is being funded through debt, equity, and sales proceeds. We are focusing on sales for smaller office spaces, ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet, while also leasing larger office spaces.”
Mehta further revealed that Tribeca Developers plans to launch three additional Trump-branded residential projects in North and South India in the coming months, with an estimated investment of ₹6,000 to ₹7,000 crore.
Expansion into Villa and Hospitality Segments
Beyond commercial and residential developments, the company is open to venturing into villa and hospitality projects under the Trump brand. “There is nothing immediate on the cards, but three new residential projects under the Trump brand will be announced soon,” Mehta added.
Trump Organisation’s Commitment to India
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organisation, expressed his excitement about the expansion. “India has embraced the Trump brand with remarkable enthusiasm. Following our successful collaboration on multiple iconic residential projects, we are proud to launch our first commercial development in India. Trump World Center Pune will set new standards in sophistication and excellence, reflecting the commitment to quality that defines Trump properties globally.”
Ashish Jain, Managing Director of Kundan Spaces, emphasized the significance of the project, stating, “This development reflects our vision to put Pune on the global map and redefine the city’s business landscape.”
Trump Towers in India: A Growing Legacy
Currently, there are four Trump Tower properties in India, located in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata. With additional projects in the pipeline, India is poised to surpass the United States in the number of Trump Towers. The existing developments span approximately 3.5 million square feet, with the Gurugram and Kolkata projects set for completion in 2025.
The Trump Organisation had previously licensed its brand to Lodha for Trump Tower Mumbai and to Panchshil Realty for the residential project in Pune. The Gurugram project is executed in collaboration with the M3M Group, while the Kolkata project is developed with the Unimark Group. These luxury residences attract high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), non-resident Indians (NRIs), and Bollywood celebrities.
The Trump World Center Pune is set to redefine India’s commercial real estate sector, blending luxury, functionality, and world-class amenities, reinforcing the Trump Organisation’s commitment to expansion in India.
