Twin Arcs Society, Punawale Takes a Green Leap with 34 kW Solar Installation, Saving 60% on Energy Costs

Punawale, December 16, 2024 – The Twin Arcs C-Wing Society in Punawale has made a significant stride towards sustainability by installing a state-of-the-art 34 kW rooftop solar system. The project, executed by TATA Power, was inaugurated on December 14, 2024, in a grand ceremony attended by society members and dignitaries.

Solar System Features and Benefits

The rooftop solar system is expected to generate approximately 4,000 units of electricity per month, meeting 60–70% of the society’s energy requirements. The society currently consumes around 6,000 units monthly, with electricity bills ranging between ₹1.1 lakh and ₹1.2 lakh. With the new solar system in place, the society anticipates substantial savings, reducing financial strain while contributing to environmental conservation.

Inauguration Ceremony Highlights

The solar system inauguration was a vibrant event, graced by the presence of dignitaries and society leaders. Chief Guests Shri Navnath Dhawale and Shri Rajeev Kshirsagar inaugurated the system alongside the society’s management team, which includes:
