Key developments, such as road widening, flyovers, and the construction of a solid waste management facility, have remained incomplete. These delays have caused significant disruptions for tech companies operating in the area. In June, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had reviewed these matters and instructed divisional commissioners to conduct follow-up meetings. However, further progress has been stalled due to the election code.

During a meeting with the Hinjewadi Industries Association (HIA), Samant addressed 17 critical issues, including alternative roads, flyovers, and waste management projects. The meeting was attended by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) Chief Engineer Nitin Wankhede, Regional Officer Archana Pathare, and various industry representatives. Samant reassured the association that the issues would be taken up with the Chief Minister’s office for expedited resolution.

The meeting also focused on challenges in the Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial area, where concerns were raised about pending proposals for a dedicated fire station and a common sewage treatment plant. Samant instructed the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Commissioner to fast-track these projects.
