The road stretch between Country Club to Nyati Chesterfield – Eternity – Ebony – Eternal Exotica – has become a filthy spot with unattended garbage and dog feeders leaving behind biscuit packets fed to strays on the road adds to the chaos.
This has turned into a regular dumping ground since the past four months, as the residents have finally come out to complain the pathetic waste picking service of PMC.

While speaking with Pune Pulse, retired Army officer, Col Deepak Kumar from Nyati Windchimes , said, “Trucks full of garbage come at the point and unload the entire load of garbage. The place has turned into a regular dumping ground as for the last four months, the condition of the road opposite to Eternal Exotica has turned pathetic. Pedestrians like me suffer the worst when we have to walk through this road as I regularly go for a walk that side. I haven’t complained it to the PMC but soon I may.”
According to the information provided by Kumar, initially household waste was thrown onto the spot into small amount, but in the last two months the trucks literally unload the entire dumper filled with garbage, which has been overlooked by PMC, and is intolerable by nearby citizens.

Another resident, Suneil Iyer from Nyati Chesterfield society in Mohamadwadi said, “This has become way too hectic for the taxpayers. We have informed PMC multiple times, but during COVID we have lost all hopes as they have over looked the condition of the area. People from Mohammad Wadi vilage dump garbage here during night.”
Upon reaching out Swati Takle, elected representative from the area, she did not respond to the calls.

Further, raising the issue with Abhijit Surywanshi, health officer of the area, PMC, he said, “Firstly, I need to inspect the area and then take an action.”
He assured that by Thursday mess will get cleared.
