Video: 20-Year-Old Student Dies While Delivering Farewell Speech in Dharashiv College in Maharashtra
In a tragic incident that has left many in shock, a 20-year-old student collapsed and died while delivering a farewell speech at her college in Maharashtra’s Dharashiv district.
The student, identified as Varsha Kharrat, was addressing fellow students and faculty at R.G. Shinde College in Paranda when she suddenly lost consciousness on stage.
A video of the incident, now viral on social media, captures Varsha smiling and laughing moments before the collapse. She was immediately rushed to the government hospital in Paranda, where doctors declared her brought dead.

According to preliminary reports, Varsha had undergone heart surgery at the age of eight but had remained healthy since then, with no ongoing medical treatment. It is suspected that she may have suffered a sudden cardiac arrest, which led to brain death.
The college administration expressed deep sorrow over her untimely demise and declared a day’s holiday in her memory.
