Pune: In another remarkable animal rescue operation, Pune Fire Brigade officials sprang into action early Sunday morning after a cow got stuck in a narrow L-shaped lane between two walls near the old police chowky on Tadiwala Road, Pune.

Responding swiftly to distress calls from local residents, fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene and began a meticulous rescue operation to free the animal. The incident drew the attention of passersby, many of whom gathered to watch the efforts unfold.

This is the second such cow rescue in Pune in recent days. On Friday, a similar incident in Raviwar Peth’s Kapad Galli saw firefighters use ropes and a crane to safely rescue a cow that had somehow climbed to the second floor of an old building. According to eyewitnesses, the cow had likely gone upstairs to escape a pack of barking stray dogs and was later unable to find her way back down. Fortunately, the animal was uninjured in the process.
