In a surprising statement, Salim Khan has shared insights into Salman Khan’s expectations for his future wife. Salman Khan has been a dominant figure in Bollywood for many years. However, alongside his upcoming films, fans are also very curious about his romantic life, especially regarding when he will get married. Despite having dated actresses like Katrina Kaif, Somy Ali, and Sangeeta Bijlani, the 59-year-old actor has yet to tie the knot.
In a previous discussion with Komal Nahta, Salman’s father, Salim Khan, shared his thoughts on why Salman hasn’t married yet. Salim Khan mentioned that there seems to be some contradiction in Salman’s way of thinking, which might be a reason for his single status.
“Salman ka pata nahi kya hai… Salman ki ek toh is wajah se bhi shaadi nahi hoti hai ki thoda sa contradiction bhi hai Salman ki thinking main (I don’t know what Salman is like… ”One reason he doesn’t get married is that there is a bit of contradiction in his thinking.)
Salim Khan clarified, “Salman ka lagao ya mohabbat… he’s attracted to the person jiske saath kaam karte hain. They are very exciting, good-looking people. Interaction hota hai kaam karte karte. People come close because voh close atmosphere main rehte hain. Toh 90 per cent of the time jo uss film ki heroine hi hoti hai voh” (Salman is mostly attracted to the heroines he works with as they work in a close atmosphere and are good-looking people).
He then mentioned that when Salman enters a relationship with an actress, he looks for qualities of his mother in that woman. Salim Khan stated that it is unreasonable for Salman to expect a career-oriented woman to abandon her ambitions and focus solely on household duties. “Why should one deprive her ki main shaadi karke ghar baitha doonga? Uska vahi hota hai” (Why should someone be deprived of the opportunity to say that I will sit at home after marriage? That’s what happens) Salim Khan said.
He mentioned, “Jab commitment ho jaata hai toh voh usko convert karne ki koshish karta hai, usme apni maa dhoondta hai. Voh toh possible nahi hai” (When commitment happens, he tries to convert them and seeks his mother in them. That is not possible.) Salim also pointed out that a working actress cannot manage daily tasks like taking children to school, assisting with their homework, or preparing their lunches.
A clip of this conversation resurfaced on social media and quickly went viral since the actor is still single. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Salman Khan will soon appear in “Sikandar” alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
