Hyderabad – A 21-year-old B.Tech student collapsed and died while playing cricket at CMR Engineering College in Medchal, Hyderabad, in a shocking incident that was caught on CCTV. The deceased has been identified as Vinay Kumar, a resident of Khammam district in Telangana.

The incident occurred on Friday evening during an inter-college cricket tournament being held on the campus. According to eyewitnesses and footage circulating on social media, Kumar was seen signaling to someone moments before he suddenly collapsed on the field while fielding.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead. Preliminary medical assessments suggest cardiac arrest as the likely cause of death. Kumar’s family has been informed, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.

In a separate incident, a businessman from Uttar Pradesh died of a suspected heart attack while dancing at his 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The man, identified as Wasim, collapsed while dancing with his wife, Farah, in front of guests.

Video footage of the event shows Wasim suddenly collapsing on stage. His wife rushed to help him as guests joined in to assist. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.

Both incidents have raised concerns about the rising number of young individuals suffering sudden cardiac events during physical or emotional activities.
