Wanowrie traffic police to take strict action against haphazard parking
Pune Traffic Police office on March 6, 2021 issued a letter stating no parking, P 1 and P2 rules to be followed at several places under Wanawadi Traffic division.
Rahul Shrirame, deputy commissioner of police, Traffic stated that except emergency services vehicles such as fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulance no other vehicle shall be allowed to park.
Keeping in view of the increasing congestion caused at several locations in Wanawadi, following locations in Wanawadi shall have some restrictions for the motorists. Below are some places where the parking restrictions have been imposed.
- Fatima Nagar Chowk to Diamond Bakery Corner – Both sides no parking
- Diamond Bakery Corner to Bank of Maharashtra – P1 and P2 parking
- Bank of Maharashtra to Shivarkar Garden Main gate – Both sides no parking
- Shivarkar Garden Main gate to Saisagar hotel – P1 and P2 Parking
- Jambhulkar chowk to Jagtap chowk – No Parking on complete East side
- Sacred heart town main gate to Mother Teresa chowk – No parking allowed on Left side
- Mother Teresa chowk to Samvidhan circle chowk – Parking allowed on both sides
- Samvidhan circle chowk to Oxford Village main gate – P1 and P2 parking
- Oxford Village Main gate to ABC Farms chowk – No parking on both sides of the road
