Mumbai: On Friday, September 6, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh visited the Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings as they prepare to welcome their first child. The couple’s visit was captured in several photographs shared on social media.
Deepika, who is due to give birth in the last week of September, was seen attending the temple with her husband. The duo, dressed in traditional attire, were photographed entering the temple hand-in-hand. Deepika looked elegant in a green Banarasi saree, while Ranveer complemented her in a beige kurta set.
In the photos, Deepika was seen cradling her baby bump as she walked ahead, while Ranveer, in a protective gesture, stayed close by her side. Joining the couple were Ranveer’s mother, Anju Bhavnani, and his sister, Ritika Bhavnani, who accompanied them for the religious ceremony.
The couple announced their pregnancy in February 2024. Deepika and Ranveer, who had been dating for several years, tied the knot in a private ceremony in November 2018.
