Video of the spat goes viral, sparking debate among fans

The usually light-hearted sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show witnessed an unexpected moment of tension when comedians Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda were seen engaging in a heated argument. A video from the practice session has surfaced online, quickly going viral and stirring reactions across social media.

According to the clip, both actors seemed to be in disagreement over solo practice time for their upcoming act. The exchange begins with Kiku Sharda asking Krushna, “Timepass kar raha hu?” to which Krushna reacts sharply, saying, “To phir thik hai aap karlo. Aap karlo, bhai koi problem nahi hai. Main jaata hu yahan se.”

Tension escalates further as Kiku responds, “Baat yeh hai ke mujhe bulaya hai toh main apna khatam kar lona pehle.” Krushna, attempting to de-escalate, adds, “I love you and respect you, I don’t want to raise my voice.” However, this statement appears to frustrate Kiku even more, prompting him to walk past the crew and remark, “Raise voice ka baat nahi hai, aap isko galat tarike se leke jaa rahe hai.”

Krushna eventually walks away visibly upset, while Kapil Sharma himself is notably absent from the footage. Crew members were seen stepping in to ease the situation.

The video’s circulation has led to divided opinions online. While some fans expressed concern over the rift, others dismissed it as a staged act for publicity. One user wrote, “Yaaar plz ab tum log na larai kro. Pahley Sunil k liye 6-7 saal wait kia ha.” Another commented, “Fake hai toh theek hai, agar nahi hai toh it’s so sad.” Others speculated that the clash might be a TRP stunt.

Neither Krushna Abhishek nor Kiku Sharda has issued an official statement regarding the incident. However, when asked, Kiku Sharda reportedly refused to comment, saying, “I don’t want to…”

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will feature entrepreneurs Aman Gupta, Ghazal Alagh, Ritesh Agarwal, and Vijay Shekhar Sharma as special guests. The episode is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, August 23, on Netflix.
