Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series sees massive demand across India, starting at ₹82,900

Mumbai witnessed a frenzy on Friday, September 19, as hundreds of Apple enthusiasts lined up outside the company’s flagship store at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) before sunrise to purchase the newly launched iPhone 17 series. Excited customers began queuing as early as 3 am. One of the first buyers told reporters, “I have been waiting for this phone for six months. I came here from Jogeshwari and have been standing in line since 3 am.”

Similar scenes unfolded in Delhi, where Apple’s Saket store drew long queues on launch day. A customer shared, “I’ve been waiting since 8 pm last night to get the orange iPhone 17 Pro Max. This time, the camera and battery have been upgraded, and the design is also different.”

The iPhone 17 series, unveiled recently by Apple, officially went on sale in India on September 19. Prices range from ₹82,900 to ₹2,29,900, with availability for both pre-booked and walk-in customers.
