The victory was especially emotional for Kohli, who had been part of the RCB franchise for 17 seasons, reaching the finals thrice but never tasting victory, until now. Expressing his feelings, he later shared an emotional post on social media featuring photos of him lifting the trophy and celebrating with the team.
In the post, he wrote:

This trophy is for RCB fans who never left our side during the tough times. It’s for every heartbreak and every moment of hope. And to the IPL trophy — friend, you made me wait 18 years to lift you. After returning to the team hotel, the RCB squad was welcomed with beats of dhol and celebration. Kohli and his teammates danced their hearts out, creating a festival-like atmosphere. Their pure joy and relief were evident on every face.
To mark this monumental win, RCB has announced a victory parade in Bengaluru, scheduled for 3:30 PM today. The parade will begin at Vidhana Soudha and conclude at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Further details will be shared soon via official channels.
