Water supply to remain affected in Pune on July 25
The Water Supply Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued a press release informing citizens about an upcoming water supply disruption.
As per the press release the disruption is due to a significant water leakage identified in a 600 mm diameter M.S. pipeline near Swargate Metro Station, which connects the MLR water tank to Bhawani Peth, serviced by the Parvati water center.
The press release informed that to address this urgent issue, the water supply will be turned off for the entire day on July 25, 2024. Additionally, residents may experience delayed water supply and reduced water pressure on July 26, 2024 as repairs are completed and the system is brought back online.
