World Ozone Day celebrated at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s IMED
‘World Ozone Day ‘was celebrated at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship development (IMED) with series of events,which concluded on 16th September 2020. National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of this institute organized events like ‘fit India campaign’,’No vehicle day’ and Tree plantation.
Dr. Sachin S. Vernekar,Director,IMED was chief guest at event while Dr Vijay Phalke(NSS Programme officer) had coordinated the event
NSS Team has organized a “Fit India Campaign” for 15 days under which different activities have been performed by volunteers. All the IMED Teaching and non teaching staff took active part in this activity.About 35 saplings were planted in the campus. No Vehicle Day was celebrated. All the IMED students as well as faculties took an active part in this campaign by not using their vehicles for a day and even promoted this campaign further by posting their photographs with no vehicle day posters on various social media platforms.
