11-Year-Old Boy Dies After Choking on Excessive Pooris During School Lunch
Hyderabad, In a tragic incident on Monday, an 11-year-old boy lost his life due to choking while having lunch at school, police reported.
According to a complaint filed by the boy’s father, the school informed him that his son had attempted to eat more than three pooris at once, which led to breathlessness.
The sixth-grade student was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital by the school staff. However, the hospital referred him to a super-specialty hospital for advanced care. Unfortunately, doctors at the latter hospital declared him dead upon arrival.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
