250 sewing machines handed over to Kondhwa residents
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti haldi kumkum ceremony Prabhag 27 Corporator Sainath Babar and Arti Babar, former Corporator handed over over 250 sewing machines to the residents of Prabhag 27.
The chief guest for the function was Sharmila Raj Thackeray, wife of MNS chief Raj Thackeray. The program was organised by Sainath Babar, Corporator Prabhag 27. Arti Babar said, “The Initiative is taken to empower women from the Prabhag to be able to make them independent and earn for themselves. I feel that it is important to empower women so that they become confident about themselves and can fight against any challenge in life.”
The program also saw presence of Rohan Gaikwad, Amol Shiras, Supriya Satish Shinde, Hussein Shaikh, Bhau Kamthe, Krishna Lohokare, Shashikant Mane, Shekhar Lonkar, Vishal Babar, Mahesh Lonkar, Satish Shinde and many others.
