In the footage, the dog-walker is seen using a litter scoop to repeatedly hit the dog, including striking the dog’s head and face. The video, shared by X user Vidit Sharma, has drawn widespread condemnation. Sharma commented on the post, highlighting the rise of animal cruelty and the lack of attention from mainstream media, urging people to take action to protect animals.

Sharma also shared a WhatsApp screenshot indicating that the dog’s owners were immediately informed, and appropriate action is being taken against the perpetrator.
