A devastating incident occurred on October 30th, when Stephen Edwin Joseph, a 61-year-old retired employee, lost his life after being hit by a PMPML electric bus while riding his motorcycle on Fish Market Road [no source provided]. The accident happened around 11 am when Joseph was attempting to cross the road to buy groceries. The bus, traveling from Bhosari to Pune, struck his two-wheeler from behind.

Joseph’s wife, Pramila, 56, filed a complaint with the Vishrantwadi police on Saturday evening. Senior Inspector Kanchan Jadhav revealed that Joseph had gone to the market to purchase food items when the tragic incident occurred. The police have summoned the bus driver and served him a notice to cooperate with the investigation.
