Sana Makbul emerged victorious in the recently concluded Bigg Boss OTT 3, which wrapped up last week. Among the top five contestants, Kritika Malik was the first to be eliminated during the finale night.
A video surfaced online days after the show ended, capturing the moments following Anil Kapoor’s announcement of Kritika’s exit from the competition.
In the video, Kritika rises from the couch as Anil Kapoor announces her elimination. She bids farewell to her fellow contestant, Ranvir Shorey, wishing him luck with a cheerful “All the best, Ranvir Ji.”
Ranvir responds by hugging Kritika and planting a kiss on her cheek. The clip also captures Armaan Malik’s reaction to Ranvir kissing his wife. This moment is particularly notable given that one of the major highlights of Bigg Boss OTT 3 was when Armaan Malik slapped Vishal Pandey for allegedly checking out Kritika.
The drama escalated during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode when Payal Malik, Armaan’s wife, revealed that Vishal had confessed to liking Kritika and feeling guilty about it.
Although Vishal claimed his words were taken out of context, Armaan reprimanded him and slapped him on national television. Vishal’s parents later appeared on the show, criticizing Armaan’s actions, which led the YouTuber to apologize to Pandey.
Vishal recalled how Payal’s claims altered people’s behavior towards him. He described the social isolation he faced, with only a few contestants like Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Makbul, and Shivani Kumari interacting with him. “Nobody used to sit with me except Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Makbul, and Shivani Kumari. Nobody talked to me. They looked at me as if I were a monster. It was so difficult. I felt suffocated. Comments were made about my character. It was tough,” he shared.
Payal also apologized to Vishal in a video statement, expressing her desire to move past the incident. She stated, “Ab na mujhe kisise kuch bolna hi nhi hai. Armaan ji ne itne bade national TV pe agar unhone jo thappad mara tha uski maafi mang li hai vo bohot badi baat hai. Mujhe bhi ab uspe baat nhi karni. Mai bhi haath jodke maafi mangti hu. Vishal ne Armaan ne or Kritika ne is topic ko khatam kar diya hai toh mai bhi is topic ko Khatam kar rahi hu.”
