As per the recent update from the Election Commission’s special brief re-examination program, Pune district has revealed its provisional voter list, listing a total of 8,417,729 voters.

Among them, there are 4,430,344 male voters, 4,035,640 female voters, and 7,745 voters from other categories. Deputy Election Officer Meenal Kalaskar provided this information.

The breakdown of voters across various constituencies within Pune district is as follows: Junnar constituency has 356 polling centers with 161,839 male voters, 153,744 female voters, and 6,839 others, totaling 314,422 voters.

Ambegaon has 341 polling centers with 155,558 male voters, 148,700 female voters, and 8 others, totaling 304,266 voters. Khed Alandi has 389 polling centers with 185,359 male voters, 171,734 female voters, and 12,105 others, totaling 357,105 voters. Shirur has 457 polling centers with 232,663 male voters, 212,646 female voters, and 21,991 others, totaling 456,300 voters. Daund has 310 polling centers with 158,840 male voters, 148,192 female voters, and 7,942 others, totaling 314,974 voters.

These figures indicate a significant voter presence in each constituency, highlighting the upcoming challenges and opportunities for political parties as the election season approaches.

The Election Commission has set August 20 as the deadline for claims and objections regarding the voter list, urging citizens to verify their details to ensure accuracy before the final publication.
