Approval Granted For Appointment Of Architect To Samvidhan Bhavan In Pimpri-Chinchwad

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s General Assembly has approved the appointment of an architectural firm for the construction of the Constitution (Samvidhan Bhavan) Bhavan, which will enhance the city’s prestige. This historic building is set to begin construction soon.
Initiated by BJP MLA Mahesh Landge, the Constitution Bhavan is being established as the first of its kind in India to study the Indian Constitution and the constitutions of democratic countries worldwide, as well as to raise awareness about the Constitution. The proposed Indian Constitution (Samvidhan) Bhavan in Pimpri-Chinchwad has gained attention, with the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) handing over the proposed site to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
The open land plot no. 2, area 25,894.2 square meters in Peth No. 11 within PMRDA’s jurisdiction, has been transferred to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for the construction of the Constitution Bhavan and a Vipassana Center. The municipal corporation will now accelerate the construction process. An international-standard library will also be built at this location, enhancing the city’s reputation in the educational sector.
