28 Parking Spots Designated Across Central Pune for Ganeshotsav Devotees by Traffic Police

The Pune traffic police have designated 28 parking locations across central Pune to accommodate devotees attending Ganeshotsav. Both city residents and visitors from the district come to witness the festival of Lord Ganesha. To manage the influx, particularly from Pargawa, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende announced parking arrangements for cars and two-wheelers at 27 spots, which will remain available until the Visarjan procession concludes.

Here are the parking arrangements for two-wheelers and four-wheelers:

  • New English School, Ramanbaug (Deccan Education Society) – Two-wheelers
  • Shivaji Akhada, Mangalwar Peth – Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers
  • Haribhai V. Desai College of Commerce, Arts and Science – Police Parking
  • Hamalwada Pay and Park, Narayan Peth – Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers
  • PMC’s Gogate School, Narayan Peth – Two-wheelers
  • Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School – Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers
  • Sir Parashurambhau (SP) College – Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers
  • PMPML Ground, Puram Chowk, Sarasbaug – Four-wheelers
  • Peshwe Energy Park, Sarasbaug – Two-wheelers
  • Harijivan Hospital, Sarasbaug – Two-wheelers
  • Patil Plaza, Mitra Mandal Chowk – Two-wheelers
  • Parvati to Dandekar Bridge – Two-wheelers
  • Dandekar Bridge to Ganesh Mala – Two-wheelers
  • Ganesh Mala to Rajaram Bridge – Two-wheelers
  • Neelayam Theatre, Sadashiv Peth – Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers

The police urge devotees to use these dedicated parking facilities and avoid parking in unauthorized areas, which may cause traffic snarls and inconvenience to fellow devotees.
