CNG Price Hike Hits Pune, Nearby Areas

September 9, 2024
Pune’s Compressed Natural Gas price has surged by 90 paise per kilogram, from Rs 85 to Rs 85.9, effective Monday midnight, confirmed Ali Daruwalla, president of All India Petrol Dealers’ Association, and Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) officials.
This hike applies to Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Chakan, Talegaon, and Hinjewadi. The increase is driven by rising demand and higher costs of imported natural gas.
However, residential piped natural gas rates remain unchanged, according to MNGL’s press release.
