E-bike Catches Fire In Kalubai Chowk On Pune Solapur road: No Casualties Reported
Javed Budhani, a resident of Hadapsar, was on his way to Pune for work when his electric bike, purchased from Ether company last year, caught fire. The incident occurred near Kalubai Chowk near Kroma mall near B T Kawade Road on Pune Solapur Highway when a passerby alerted Javed that smoke was coming from the rear of his bike.
As soon as Javed stopped and got off, the e-bike suddenly caught fire. Within just 10 minutes, the bike was completely engulfed in flames and reduced to ashes. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and it raises concerns about the safety of electric vehicles. Local authorities are investigating the matter.
