The International WeLoveU Foundation, in collaboration with Shivarkar Hospital, Wanwadi, Pune assisted in the establishment of the Water Purification Plant to improve the medical environment by providing clean water to patients and medical staff.
As an affiliate organization of the UN DGC (Global Communications Department), the International WeLoveU Foundation (Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah, henceforth referred to as WeLoveU) helped set up the Water Purification Plant at Shivarkar Hospital Wanwadi, Pune, Maharashtra, on the 11th Sept 2024. During the donation ceremony, attended by hospital officials and Pune Municipal Corporation representatives, a WeLoveU official stated, “Since 80% of the human body is made of water, it is not an exaggeration to say that water is life. Drinking clean water is the first step towards a healthy and happy life. We hope that our neighbors, who are receiving treatment for illnesses at the hospital, will soon return to their healthy daily lives with clean water.”
