Senior NCP Leader Baba Siddiqui Passes Away at Lilavati Hospital
Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddiqui has passed away at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Siddiqui was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in an attack outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra East.
Despite efforts by medical staff, Siddiqui succumbed to his injuries. Baba Siddiqui, a leader of the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP, was shot in the chest and two rounds in the stomach. He passed away during treatment at Lilavati Hospital. Police have arrested three people in connection with the shooting, during which two to three rounds were fired at Baba Siddiqui as he was leaving his son Zeeshan’s office.
