Pune: On Sunday evening, residents of Pune were treated to a mesmerizing air show by French performers as part of the RoZéO Air Show, organized by the French Institute of India and Alliance Française. Held at the Amanora Mall in Hadapsar, the show featured three tall, flexible poles planted in the ground, on which agile performers executed breathtaking aerial stunts to the rhythm of music. Spectators were left in awe by the performers’ precision, agility, and artistry as they navigated through daring acrobatics, receiving thunderous applause from the audience.

The RoZéO show, conceived by Stéphane Girard and Camille Boimier with contributions from Pauline Frémeau and Ann Jonathan, is a unique live performance blending art and nature. The performers swayed gracefully atop six-meter-high metal poles, creating delicate yet powerful movements against the sky, accompanied by an immersive soundscape of electronics, field recordings, and rhythmic music. The 42-minute performance offered a poetic experience that transported the audience into a reflective and harmonious space.

This air show was previously featured in the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, where it received international acclaim for its dreamlike choreography, directed by renowned artistic director Thomas Jolly. Pune was one of the select cities in India chosen to host this remarkable performance.
