TV actress Shabrin, recognized for her performances in ‘Crime Patrol’ and ‘Singham 3’, was taken into custody by the police on Sunday for allegedly kidnapping a three-year-old boy. The authorities rescued the child from an apartment in Naigaon, Palghar district, and returned him to his parents. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.

Further inquiries have uncovered disturbing details about Shabrin’s involvement. The case connects to her relationship with Brijesh Singh, a Hindu man from Vasai, while Shabrin is from the Muslim community. Brijesh’s family opposed their marriage due to these religious differences.

It is alleged that Shabrin kidnapped Brijesh’s three-year-old nephew after his family rejected their relationship. Following this, Brijesh’s family lodged a complaint at the Valiv police station in Palghar district.

Police officer Jayraj Ranavane mentioned that a case was initiated based on CCTV footage, leading to Shabrin’s arrest after questioning the auto-rickshaw driver. The police are now looking into Brijesh Singh’s potential involvement in the kidnapping.

On Saturday, Shabrin reportedly attempted to abduct Brijesh’s nephew, Prince, after school by taking advantage of her acquaintance with him. Because Prince recognized Shabrin, he willingly went with her.

When Prince had not returned home by the afternoon, his family became worried and went to his school, where they found out that an unknown woman had taken him, claiming she needed to buy medicine.

The police quickly acted by reviewing CCTV footage that showed Shabrin leaving with Prince in an auto-rickshaw. After questioning the auto driver, they learned that he had dropped them off near Naigaon.

Using mobile location tracking, the police apprehended Shabrin in Bandra.
