Pune News: Prashant Jagtap Files Candidature In Hadapsar Amid Attendance Of Balasaheb Shivarkar And Yogesh Sasane

Pune, October 28, 2024: Prashant Jagtap, the Mahavikas Aghadi candidate for the Hadapsar Assembly, filed his nomination amidst a large crowd of supporters. MPs Vandana Chavan and Dr. Amol Kolhe, along with former State Minister Balasaheb Shivarkar, former MLA Mohan Joshi, Congress City President Arvind Shinde, Shiv Sena leader Vasant More, and other leaders and party members, were present in support. 

The rally began with a tribute to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Wanwadi, followed by temple visits in Hadapsar. Jagtap, accompanied by supporters, then led a procession to the Vitthal Tupe Patil Auditorium, where he filed his nomination papers.

Amidst enthusiastic slogans, Jagtap expressed his belief that, after five years of lacking development in Hadapsar and growing civic challenges, change is needed. He emphasized the people’s support for this change, seeing it as a positive message for the community.
