Pimpri, Pune, October 28, 2024 – In celebration of Diwali, Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park has organized a series of cultural and scientific events, including “ISRO – Space on Wheels,” an eco-friendly fort-building competition, classical music performances, and a reading competition. All events will be held in the park’s premises and are free for the audience. Praveen Tupe, the founder and director of the Science Park, has invited the public to attend this cultural extravaganza.

The “ISRO – Space on Wheels” exhibition, aimed at sparking interest in science, will be available for viewing from Monday (October 28) to Thursday (October 31), and again from Sunday (November 3) to Tuesday (November 5). The eco-friendly fort-building competition will take place from Thursday (October 31) to Thursday (November 7). Additionally, a science lecture organized by the Marathi Vidnyan Parishad Pune Division and Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park will be held on Thursday (October 31) at 5:30 PM, followed by a classical music performance by Prajakta Thakar at 7 PM.

In memory of former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, a reading competition titled “India of Abdul Kalam’s Dreams” will take place on Sunday (November 3) at 6 PM. The evening will also feature “Sur Nabhangan,” a melodious concert directed by Hemant Mone.

Please note that the Science Park and Planetarium will remain closed on Friday (November 1) for Lakshmi Puja, but will continue regular operations during the Diwali holidays.
