Pune: Namacha Gajar musical program to take place on July 23
Pune 16 July, 2026 : Gurukul Kalashri Sangeet Mandal is set to present an evening of devotional saint compositions titled Namacha Gajar on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM onwards at MES Bal Shikshan Mandir Auditorium, Kothrud, Pune. The program is open & free to all on a first-come-first-served basis.
At its 10th edition, the program will feature performances by Kirana Gharana Vocalist, Pt Sudhakar Chavan and Shashwati Chavan, followed by Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi’s son, vocalist Shrinivas Joshi, and grandson Viraj Joshi.
The evening will also showcase, noted Vocalist, Pt Kalyan Gaikwad along with winner Of Zee Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Vocalist, Kartiki Gaikwad – Pise.
They will be accompanied by Pandurang Pawar (Tabla), Gangadhar Shinde(Harmonium), Gambhir Maharaj Avachar (Pakhawaj), Makrand Badrayni (Taal).
Akash Thite will anchor the program.
