Bhosari: The ongoing development of the Biodiversity Park in Talawade is bringing national recognition to the village, marking a significant shift in its identity and future prospects. The park not only ensures the preservation of the region’s natural environment but also promises to transform the local economy, positioning Talawade as a key player on the national map.

In a rally organized for MLA Mahesh Landge, the official candidate of the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP-RPI (Athawale) alliance, villagers expressed overwhelming support for the development projects spearheaded by him. The rally, held in Chikhali-Talawade, spanned wards 11 and 12 and attracted a large crowd, with residents from Sudarshan Nagar, Koyan Nagar, Phule Nagar, Shivaji Park, Swami Samarth Colony, Triveni Nagar, and Tamhane Wasti participating enthusiastically. Local societies such as the Shree Krishna Society, Ganesh Society, Hanuman Society, and Ajinkya Tara Society also joined the event, where many gathered to wish Landge success in securing his third consecutive term.

At the rally, senior citizens expressed their belief that Landge’s continued leadership is vital for the village’s growth. One senior resident remarked, “Your victory will ensure the completion of ongoing projects and guarantee the development of our village.”

Notable figures such as former corporator Shantaram Bhale and his family, including Aruna Bhale, Anil Bhale, and Pandurang Bhale, were instrumental in organizing the rally. Others like Suhas Tamane, Sanjay Tamane, Shivaji Tamane, and Vinod Tamane also played key roles in rallying support.

Tax Relief for Talawade Residents

A major achievement highlighted by Landge during the rally was his success in securing the tax waiver. “This tax relief has lifted a heavy burden off our residents, and I am proud to have played a key role in making it possible,” Landge said. Citizens praised both Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Landge for their efforts in abolishing the tax, promising to stand by his leadership in the upcoming elections.

Ongoing Infrastructure Development

In addition to the tax relief, Landge outlined ongoing development efforts in Chikhali-Talawade, including improvements to internal roads, water supply, and electricity. “We are working closely with the Municipal Corporation to construct seven alternative roads, which will help ease traffic congestion in the area,” he added. Long-pending electrical issues are also being addressed, with transformer work scheduled to improve the local power infrastructure.

Landge emphasized that the Biodiversity Park remains his top priority. “Completing the park will be a major step in enhancing Talawade’s infrastructure and making it a more attractive destination for both residents and visitors,” he said.

With significant progress in infrastructure, healthcare, and environmental development, MLA Mahesh Landge is poised to secure his third consecutive term, continuing his legacy of transforming Chikhali-Talawade into a model of growth and development.

“In my constituency, I ensure that no resident faces any inconvenience. I’ve been closely following up with the Municipal Corporation to address issues like internal roads and water supply. Currently, seven alternative roads are being developed in the Chikhali-Talawade area, which will resolve the traffic congestion problem. We have also resolved delays in the electricity distribution system, and several pending projects are now on track. In the coming months, we also have plans for new transformer installations. But the most important project for us is completing the Biodiversity Park in Talawade. It’s essential for the area’s growth, and we’re working hard to ensure its completion.” MLA Mahesh Landge
