College Student And Brother Brutally Attacked In Pune
A brutal attack on a 20-year-old college student, Krishna Adagale, and his brother, Kumar, has sent shockwaves through the city of Pune. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, when a group of seven to eight men armed with sharp weapons assaulted the brothers in a lane near a mall off Karve Road.
According to the police, the attack was sparked by a dispute over Krishna’s friendship with a girl from his college, who was known to one of the suspects. When Kumar intervened in the dispute, he was also attacked and suffered minor injuries.
Krishna, who suffered a head injury, is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition. The police have detained one of the assailants and his minor accomplice for questioning and are searching for the other suspects involved in the attack.
An FIR has been registered with the Deccan Gymkhana police station, and the police are investigating the matter further. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Sandeep Singh Gill said that preliminary investigations have revealed that the assailants assaulted Krishna with sharp weapons due to his friendship with the girl.
