The program “Pune Book Festival 2024” has been organized jointly by the Ministry of Education, National Book Trust (NBT), ‘Savitribai Phule Pune University’.
This program will be held at the Ferguson College ground from December 14 to 22. Along with a grand book exhibition, this festival will include many cultural programs, seminars, symposiums, many programs that give scope to creativity and deeply instill the culture of reading.
This festival is more special because this time the Pune Book Festival is preparing to set 3 world records. This will also be recorded in the ‘Guinness World Book of Records’. Therefore, it is certainly a matter of pride for Punekars.
This festival will be held with public participation as its focal point. On December 11, from 12 to 1 pm, an innovative initiative called ‘Shantata… Punekar Vachat Ahet’ will be implemented across the city of Pune. Under this, lakhs of Punekars will read books at the same time wherever they are. A QR code will be given to participate in this. In it, readers are expected to provide the name of the book, the place of reading and a photo with it.
It is expected that the participation, which was in the thousands last year, will turn into lakhs this year.
Let’s come together and make this festival a success..!
