Costs of Installation

The charges for installing HSRPs, inclusive of GST and the cost of the snap lock, are as follows:

₹531 for two-wheelers and tractors

₹590 for three-wheelers

₹879 for cars, buses, and trucks

Introduced in 2019 for new vehicles, HSRPs are tamper-proof and come equipped with a unique identification number, hologram, and registration details. These features enhance vehicle tracking and security, significantly reducing the risk of theft and aiding law enforcement.

Compliance Process

Vehicle owners must book their HSRP installation appointments through the online portal.

Appointments can be scheduled and rescheduled up to three times for added convenience.

3. Enter your vehicle’s details, including:
   • Registration number
   • Chassis number
   • Engine number
   • State as Maharashtra
4. Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including:
   • Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
   • Proof of identity
   • Proof of address
5. Select a fitment location and book an appointment
6. Make payment online
7. Download the payment receipt
