Air India Express is set to enhance regional connectivity by launching direct flights between Pune and Mangalore starting January 4, 2025. These new flights will operate twice every Saturday, providing passengers with convenient travel options featuring both morning and evening departures.
The flight schedule includes departures from Pune at 9:55 AM and 8:35 PM, with arrivals in Mangalore at 11:40 AM and 10:05 PM, respectively. The return flights from Mangalore to Pune are planned to leave at 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM, arriving in Pune at 9:25 AM and 8:00 PM.
This new service is anticipated to greatly enhance connectivity between Pune and Mangalore, serving the needs of both business and leisure travelers. The introduction of this route reflects Air India Express’s commitment to expanding its domestic network and providing seamless travel experiences for passengers throughout the region.
Air India Express is expanding its domestic network with the recent launch of Pune-Bangkok flights on December 21, 2024, which operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The airline aims to improve regional and international travel options from Pune and enhance access to important destinations.
Currently, Air India Express offers over 90 weekly flights from Pune, connecting the city to 10 domestic locations, including Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mangalore. The addition of flights to Bangkok further demonstrates the airline’s commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel for its passengers.
The new direct flight route between Pune and Mangalore is set to improve business and cultural connections between the two cities.
