Pune, January 6, 2025: A shocking incident unfolded in Koregaon Park’s Agrasen Society, where an 80-year-old man, Jagdish Prasad Agarwal, was robbed by his 15-year-old caretaker. The minor, originally from Madhya Pradesh, tied up the elderly man and threatened him with a knife before fleeing with ₹32,000 in cash and two mobile phones.

The Incident
The accused had been employed as a caretaker for just 20 days. On January 1, around 7-8 PM, he forced Agarwal into the bedroom at knifepoint, tied his hands and legs, gagged him with a cloth, and threatened to kill him if he did not hand over his valuables. The caretaker then stole cash and mobile phones from a cupboard before escaping the scene.

Agarwal, unable to raise an alarm immediately due to the gag, managed to free himself after half an hour and cried out for help. Neighbors rushed to his aid and informed the police.
