Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A shocking incident of arrogance and lawlessness unfolded in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar when a wealthy driver in a luxury car blatantly violated traffic rules and then insulted and threatened police officers on duty. The driver, identified as Kunal Bakliwal, was stopped by traffic police for speeding and using a VIP siren inappropriately.
When officers asked him to step out of the vehicle, Bakliwal refused and reacted with extreme hostility. He reportedly told the police, “Do you know who I am? I can have you all suspended within two hours.” He further mocked the officers, saying, “Are you my father or God?” His refusal to cooperate escalated the situation.
The driver called an influential person on the phone and handed it to the police, demanding special treatment. During the confrontation, Bakliwal used offensive language in Hindi, saying, “Old man, do you even know how to do your duty?” Despite being informed that the incident was being recorded, he continued his unruly behavior and even threatened to call the media to create pressure on the police.
The officers eventually managed to get the driver to step out of the vehicle and registered a case against him at the Kranti Chowk Police Station. A video of the incident has since gone viral in the city, sparking outrage over the blatant misuse of privilege and disregard for the law.
This incident has highlighted the growing problem of reckless driving and disrespect toward traffic laws in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The police have assured strict action against the accused, emphasizing the need for accountability and adherence to the law.
