Pune Crime News: Construction Developer Assaulted Over Excavation ; Case Filed Against Former Corporator
Pimpri – A construction developer was assaulted in Susgaon after questioning the ongoing excavation work using a poclain machine. The incident led to the filing of a case against a former corporator Baburao Chandere and two others at the Bavdhan Police Station.
Prashant Shankar Jadhav (48), a resident of Warje Malwadi, Pune, filed the complaint. According to police, the accused were carrying out excavation on land owned by Jadhav in Susgaon. When Jadhav and his associate Vijay Raundhal confronted the accused about the excavation, they were attacked.
The accused reportedly slapped Jadhav and pushed Raundhal to the ground, where he was beaten with kicks and punches and injured by stones thrown at him. A case has been registered against the former corporator and two others. The investigation is being led by Police Inspector Tejaswi Jadhav.
