Mumbai Police Arrest Man Over Threat Call To PM Modi’s Aircraft
Mumbai Police have arrested a man from the Chembur area after he allegedly made a threat call warning of a terrorist attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft. The call was received at the Mumbai Police control room on February 11, ahead of PM Modi’s official visit abroad.
Threat Call Triggers Security Alert
According to Mumbai Police, the caller claimed that terrorists were planning to attack PM Modi’s aircraft as he departed for his foreign tour. Taking the threat seriously, police immediately alerted intelligence agencies and launched an investigation.Following swift action, authorities tracked down and detained the suspect in Chembur. However, officials later stated that the individual was mentally unstable. Despite this, security agencies continued their assessment of potential risks.

Meanwhile, PM Modi co-chaired the AI Action Summit in Paris alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
