He was taken aback by an unexpected call from the police, who informed him that Nisha Patil, a devoted fan, had left her entire estate valued at Rs 72 crores to him in her will. Astonishingly, subsequent reports revealed that she had directed her bank to transfer all her assets directly to the actor. The enormity of this gesture left everyone in disbelief, underscoring the significant influence Bollywood stars can wield over their fans.
According to reports, Nisha, a 62-year-old homemaker based in Mumbai had been fighting a terminal illness and had sent multiple letters to her bank requesting the transfer of all her assets to Sanjay Dutt.
Sanjay Dutt decided to forgo the substantial inheritance. His legal representatives promptly stated that he had no intention of pursuing the property, given that he had never had a personal relationship with Nisha Patil.
The actor expressed that, although he was touched by the situation, he preferred to move on, highlighting that there was no previous connection between them. “I will not be claiming anything. I did not know Nisha and I am very overwhelmed by the entire incident to speak about it,” he had said.
Coming to his recent endeavors, he featured in the film Leo alongside Thalapathy Vijay in 2023. At present, he is preparing for his upcoming significant project, Baaghi 4, in which he will co-star with Tiger Shroff. This highly awaited action movie is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on September 5, 2025.
