Pune News: Shree Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir On NIBM Road To Celebrate Maha Shivratri With Grand Festivities
Kondhwa, Pune – The Shree Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir, located on NIBM Road, Kondhwa Khurd, is set to host grand celebrations for Maha Shivratri on Wednesday, 26 February 2025. Devotees from Kondhwa, NIBM Road, and Salunkhe Vihar Road are invited to participate in the auspicious occasion.
The day will begin at 5:30 AM with Rudra Swahakar, Maharudrabhishek, Homa, and Havan, followed by continuous Prasad distribution from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Several bhajan mandals, including Jay Hari Mahila Bhajani Mandal, Shree Pandurang Seva Bhajani Mandal, and Ramdarbar Salunke Vihar Bhajani Mandal, will lead soulful bhajans throughout the day.
In the evening, Dhoop Aarti will be performed at 7:00 PM, followed by a Bharatanatyam dance performance by Guru Shumita Mahajan and Sadhana Nrutyalaya, Pune, adding a cultural touch to the divine celebrations.
The festivities continue on Thursday, 27th February, with a Shiv Bhandara (Maha Prasad) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Sankat Haran Mahadev Temple, located next to Brahma Majestic, NIBM Road.
The event is organized by Tanaji Dnyandev Lonkar, Ex-Corporator, PMC, NIBM. The Maha Shivratri celebrations promise to be a spiritually enriching experience, offering devotees an opportunity to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings while enjoying devotional music, rituals, and traditional offerings.
